Farewell, Blogger....

I've never been a fan of goodbyes. They make me very sad. And for some reason I easily feel pity for inantimate objects, too. Weird, huh?
So that being said, please don't be sad, Blogger. You were a fantastic beginning blog, and you hold a record of many memories for me, and I thank you for that. However, that being said, The Tanks have found a new home at Word Press. It was time to change it up, and I think you, loyal readers, will enjoy it as well. Hopefully now that I have something new to fiddle with, I will be more motivated to blog. I've missed the stream of thought writing that blogs give me an opportunity to work on.

Prepare yourselves.....

.... the official move to Word Press is underway. I feel a bit like a heretic saying this on Blogger, but, what can you do? The time has come to move up in the blogging community. Stay tuned for the new location of The Tanks blog!

On that note..

Clearly, blogger is STILL not being cooperative, as my DC pictures show. GRRR!!! Seriously considering a switch to Word Press--I hear it's much more user friendly!!! Any suggestions/comments about this potential change? Does anyone really even care? LOL! Let me know!

What? I have a blog???

Life has been busy busy busy lately! Work has picked up a lot, Kev has been in and out of town, and I'm trudging through the week before my last class (for this course) for my Master's degree. Phew!
I feel like I should have something exciting and fun to post... I'm so behind, surely there's something entertaining to share!
Let's see, back in August Kev and I went to DC, and had a blast! We've talked about going for years, but never actually done gone. We went to all of the memorials and all that fun stuff. The World War II Memorial is one of my favorites.

Goodbye to my beautiful puppy, Zack. He lived a long, happy life in Mars Hill, with all the room he wanted to run around and play in. I consider myself lucky to have had such a fantastic dog.

Long time, no post

Where has time gone? Somehow summer has slipped away, and fall is staring us right in the face! I honestly can't believe how quickly the time has passed, between random trips here and there. Almost a month ago, Kev and I went to DC and Maryland for a few days to catch a Phish show and tour our nation's capital (in the words of Forrest Gump). We have some great pictures that I have somehow managed not to upload yet... hopefully I'll do that in the next few days, and have some fun pics to share here and on Facebook! :)
